3. Use of Apple Screen Time API (Family Controls) & Device Activity
For iOS users, BibleGate utilizes Apple’s Screen Time API (Family Controls and Device Activity) to enable its core functionality—intercepting distracting apps during your scheduled "Holy Gate" hours.

On-Device Processing Only: All data related to your selected apps, categories, and schedules remains strictly on your device.

No Third-Party Sharing: We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers, sold to third parties, or used for targeted advertising.

The permissions granted for Family Controls are used solely to restrict access to your chosen apps and display the Bible verse mission screen as you have configured.
4. Local Storage (App Groups & UserDefaults)
To remember your settings (such as the days and times you wish to focus, or the apps you selected), BibleGate uses secure, local on-device storage (like Shared UserDefaults via App Groups). This information never leaves your smartphone.
5. Third-Party Services
Because BibleGate does not collect user data, we do not integrate with third-party analytics or advertising trackers that harvest your personal information.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. Since all data remains locally on the device, there is no centralized database from which to delete such information.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website.
